SAP FI CO Consultant (Freelance / Remote)

Role – SAP FI CO consultant

Location – Remote

Rate – £90-100 per hour

Languages – English (German or Danish advantageous)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SAP FI/CO Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work closely with the business and technical teams to implement, optimize, and support SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. Your expertise will help us ensure efficient integration of financial processes and enable best practices within SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP FI/CO modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support the SAP system lifecycle, including design, testing, training, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in the integration of SAP FI/CO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.) and third-party systems.
• Perform data migration, mapping, and validation for finance-related processes.
• Configure SAP FI/CO modules to ensure alignment with organizational and financial objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAP FI/CO functionality to minimize operational downtime.
• Support end-users, provide training, and document best practices and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant with hands-on configuration experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and management accounting practices.
• Experience with SAP integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Previous experience in system upgrades, migrations, or implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• SAP Certification in FI/CO or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
