Business Manager – Transformation Programme

With elements of business process management, commercial / contract management, business partnerships, vendor management and reporting – this position will support the transformation programme and the CTO to manage the interaction with the Group’s Board, Executive team, and their wider functional teams. You will be responsible for obtaining, analysing, and creating a narrative outlining key programme information and constructing Board Papers for the Programme.
You will work closely with department heads, senior managers, project managers, IT colleagues providing support on specific programme activities, including managing the procurement activity and key partner relationships in line with vendor management policy for new and existing vendors.
The day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Analysing key programme information to develop and construct regular and ad-hoc Board and ExCo papers
* Supporting strategic change initiatives through reporting and board paper creation
* Ownership of 3rd party relationships with strategic partners
* Ensure the Transformation programme has clear and robust plans in place to enable effective management of the programme delivery and critical decisions
* Support and manage RFP/RFI processes
* Ensure excellent and robust Governance arrangements are in place and followed
* Prepare regular reports and presentations for the Group Chief Transformation Officer, and other Transformation senior leaders
* Work with finance teams to manage the invoice process for key strategic partner 3rd party relationship
* Support the Strategic Performance Manager with producing business cases
Your background
* You will have experience in a similar role with previous experience or equivalent demonstrable experience of supporting strategic change initiatives through reporting and board paper creation.
* Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders up to and including senior stakeholders/c-suite level is essential
* Experience of facilitating RFI/RFPs end to end
* Experience of working directly with project / change management lifecycle is essential
* Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision-making
* A professional certification in vendor management, contract management or project management is desirable.
* Degree (or equivalent) in business studies or finance specific qualifications are desirable
This role requires 3 days per week in the office, including travel to London to meet with the consulting partners
