Job Description:

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and solutions within the SAP environment. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, functional consultants, and other technical teams to ensure that the SAP system meets the business requirements and delivers optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces in the SAP environment.
• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize SAP reports, enhancements, workflows, and custom applications in ABAP.
• Integrate SAP systems with third-party applications and non-SAP systems.
• Perform unit testing and assist with the overall testing efforts for custom development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom ABAP developments and system performance.
• Support the migration of objects between development, testing, and production environments.
• Maintain and enhance existing ABAP solutions, ensuring scalability and alignment with business needs.
• Assist in system upgrades, enhancements, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Provide technical documentation and support for custom developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in ABAP programming and development.
• Hands-on experience in SAP module integration, such as SD, MM, FI, CO, HR, etc.
• Experience with various ABAP tools and technologies including Reports, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, User Exits, and Data Dictionary objects.
• Experience in creating custom reports, smart forms, SAPscript, and interface development.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, development best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with SAP Fiori or UI5 development is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SAP Web Dynpro and Workflow development is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• SAP ABAP Certification.
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex ABAP issues.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems and transport management.
