Technical Lead – Business Intelligence and Power Platform

Technical Delivery Lead / Manager needed for a pension provider, who can lead but also be a technical guide.

You will be responsible for delivering a pipeline of technical solutions across the business including end to end business IT changes, architecture design to development, testing and deployment of solutions based on Business Intelligence and Power Platform

Microsoft cloud technologies environment, including within the Power Platform, Azure Cloud Services BI vertical MS 365, Dynamics, as well as via bespoke applications in Python, .Net, C# and SQL, Power BI.

You will manage a small team (6 or 7) and work closely with stakeholders and managers – both technical and people skills are key.

Your background

• Technical skills in Business Intelligence, Azure Cloud BI, Power Platform
• Strong experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
• Highly people focussed, your interpersonal skills and experience are key
• Technical Lead experience in software architecture design, development, testing and deployment of projects
• Strong technical skills including Cloud services – Synapse Workspace Analytics (or ADF2), python notebooks, SQL relational database, Parquet dataset, Power BI reports (dashboards, Paginated, DAX queries), App Services, Web APIs (REST), Service Bus and Power Platform solutions including Cloud automation, RPA, Model Driven Apps
• Experience in leading detailed design workshops, playbacks, testing, and training sessions
