Team som3 welcomes our newest member today, Katia Lychkovakha all the way from the Ukraine and now relocated to our Southern office as Recruitment Consultant.

Katia joins us with over 5 years of technology recruitment experience, most recently with a Computer Games company based in Kyiv (Ukraine) where she has in depth experience in the Gaming/Software Development space.

Clearly Katia had no plans to come and live in the UK a good few months back, and Mr Putins crowd have thrown a massive spanner in the works in Ukraine!. However the silver lining in this situation (if there really is one in war!) is that we have gained an ace new team member who will settle and love living in the UK going forward.

There is some great talent/experience in Ukraine and the Work Visa application process to get Katia over here was not difficult at all (took about 3 weeks). Get on LinkedIn Folks, there are some awesome people over there that are easily contacted/found.

Getting Katia’s pet dog out the country is the next challenge!
